South Plains Electric Cooperative provides electric service in the counties of Childress, Cottle, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Foard, Garza, Hale, Hall, Hardeman, Hockley, Kent, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley and Stonewall; maintains 10,066 miles of line within our 6,600 square miles of service area, and serves approximately 32,000 members and more than 58,000 meters. The cooperative has not at this point made investments in renewable energy projects or programs, and offers limited energy efficiency opportunities.
